(I don't feel optimistic about this release changing public opinion. In Vietnam there was a draft going on, so people had a real stake in the warmaking foreign policy of the US. With our current "all-volunteer" and increasingly outsourced-to-private-enterprise military force, our citizenry is disconnected from the war's cost in an unprecedented way. It makes it easy not to care. -b)
